Activists and fisherman alike…..

……joined together Friday evening to see just how many people we could fit into the Sierra Club’s Portland office. The cause: to celebrate and watch the award winning film, Red Gold. 84 was the unofficial head count, not sure we could have fit many more in either. Who would have thought that we could fit so many people into a small office conference room? We did, and it was awesome! A great success of an evening, beers were drank, laughs were had and tears were shed. People couldn’t stop talking about how great the film was, how moved they were by it and asking how they can get involved in the fight for Bristol Bay. People voiced their opinions by signing petitions and you can bet all 84 of them are telling their friends what movie needs to be next on the must see list.
