What we do

single spey in motion
Expanding Conservation through awareness.
Currently working on a number of projects including:
-land use issues to guarantee fishing access for years to come by fighting to keep our rivers public below the high water mark, keeping everyone free to fish where they want to fish, and effectively spread out the crowd factor.
-fighting for permanent designations in critical native fish spawning habitat as Salmon Sanctuaries. These areas would provide native fish with natural refuges to spawn and rear in, unharmed. In designated tributary streams there would be no fishing, no development, no timber harvest and we let native fish do their own thing.
-putting pressure on legislators to move ahead with removal of the four out-dated dams on the lower Snake river. These useless piles of concrete block upstream and downstream migrating fish. Including numerous runs of salmon and the huge B-run, Idaho-bound, steelhead that are the cause of daily nightmares involving the famous lower Deschutes river.
